For once I thought I had accidentally deleted my blog. Could not access my blog for almost the entire day and THAT drove me crazy. But I felt better when I could not access my SIL's blog too. SIL is Nurul lah! Lol! It feels really weird to be calling her SIL.
Anyway, yesterday was FIL's 58th birthday. We thought we would have a simple celebration for him since he had never celebrated his birthday before. So after the hubby was done with work, we headed over to the in-laws' to have dinner together with the auntie and family. MIL cooked her specialty dish, ayam masak merah. The expression on FIL's face when he received the gifts from us was so priceless, I tell you. It was really nice to see him so thunderstruck yet so happy. And when he was told to blow the candles, he really blew the candles with all his might! Another timeless moment! Seriously now, a little celebration for FIL was the least we could do after all that he had done for us. FIL is truly a nice person, and a very good example to all his sons. I can never see him lose his temper. I can never hear him raise his voice. That explains why my hubby is a good person too, hokay?! He takes after the father, see? Lol. All in all, we were glad we made his day yesterday. :)
